Warm Brains is a new guise of London-based musician, Rory Attwell.  “Let Down” is a fast alt-rock with heavy guitars and an unrelenting pace. Although the music is dense and complex Attwells vocals are light and airy, his accent and style of singing is not far off the breathy tones of Pete Doherty.

“Stone to Sand to Glass” is an entirely different vibe. It is stripped back and melancholy-  a slow and dreamy tune, laden with harmonies and vocal layers. Percussion takes a back seat in this song as Atwell focuses on the guitar riffs and emotive reverb effects.

 

Warm brains will release debut LP Old Volcanoes through Marshall Teller Records on August 1st.
