Alongside the string of dates, we present a quirky, fun, fan-made but Love Inks approved video for album track ‘Too Wild’, complete with teddy boys and Martini drinking pugs

Focussing around musical duo & married couple Sherry LeBlanc and Kevin Dehan (bass), Love Inks have already built quite a following in the UK with their single ‘Blackeye’ winning the fan-voted BB6 6Music Rebel Playlist and the album getting great reviews, topping the NME Radar Buzz Chart and making their recent Best New Bands of 2011 list.

‘E.S.P.’ was conceived and recorded with strict, direct motives. The combined sound is minimalist dream-pop; imbued with raw emotion, sexuality, and splashes of electronic colour. Focus is placed primarily on the voice, which is direct and honest and real. No frills, tears through extravagant side roads, or indulgent solos necessary.

Self-recorded in their own homes, Austin, Texas, and mixed by a friend; the idea was to get the purest signals from all instruments and feed them through an 8-track reel-to-reel, immediately warming the sounds and weaving it all together. This process was drawn out on a piece of paper in schematics before recording with the concept being: the less digitized, the better.
