RAMS’ POCKET RADIO is Peter McCauley, a drummer, pianist and songwriter from Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Unfettered personal expression is the focus, and with the timeless works of the 1950’s product designer Dieter Rams in mind; purity, simplicity and longevity are the first concerns.

For his live performance Peter is joined onstage by friends, and between them they create an intense and unmissable musical experience. Within a year of being, the band has performed extensively throughout Northern Ireland and more recently the UK and Germany playing a variety of well attended shows and performing with artists such as Darwin Deez, Iain Archer, Duke Special and Tuneyards. Last weekend’s Glastonbury performance was featured on Radio 1, adding to the band’s recent haul of two Radio 1 Northern Ireland sessions and an appearance on Tom Robinson’s BBC 6Music podcast.

The debut EP ‘Dieter Rams Has Got The Pocket Radios’ is released on July 18 on Reel to Reel Recordings
