Unsigned artist Juan Zelada BBC RADIO 2 RECORD OF THE WEEK for ‘Breakfast in Spitalfields’ single released 4th July
Having come to the UK with just his guitar on his back and his enigmatic talent Juan Zelada has quickly become one of the most talked about names on the scene and has already enjoyed slots touring with the likes of Amy Winehouse.
Now Juan has just become one of an incredible few unsigned artists to be announced as Radio 2’s Record of The Week with his single ‘Breakfast in Spitalfields’ competing and winning over a number of already major and established artists .
With a summer of festivals appearances just about to be confirmed plus a live tour- it looks like 2011 is set to be Juan’s year.
Juan is managed by Insomnia Music, which was established five years ago. Juan joined Insomina three years ago and the company have worked hard to develop and nurture Juan’s talent whilst releasing his material on their own label Insomnia Records.
