San Diego band TRANSFER will release the first single from their debut album, Losing Composure, on July 18th which is available as a free download via their website, www.transferband.com from today for one week only. Recently signed to Cool Green Records following hotly-received UK, US and European shows with Brandon Flowers and White Lies, the group will return to the UK this summer for live dates in support of the single and ahead of the release of their phenomenal debut album Future Selves, this September.
Already making a big name for themselves Stateside, with recent excursions seeing the band impress at the influential Sunset Sessions and with a residency at Las Vegas’ Cosmopolitan Hotel, TRANSFER’s return to the UK this summer will take in high profile festival shows in Hyde Park (with The Killers), at Hop Farm and T In The Park, club shows, and their UK TV debut with a performance on Live From Abbey Road.

TRANSFER comprises childhood friends Jason Cardenas and Matthew Molarius, with Shaun Cornell and Andy Ridley. Drawing inspiration from the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, the band craft a sound of their own that nods to said classic rock luminaries while carrying a contemporary zeal that recalls the thoughtful sentiments of My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses and Arcade Fire. The band recorded Losing Composure, along with the rest of Future Selves, at their own White Horse Recorders studio in San Diego.
