Up-and-coming Manchester indie band, Secret Pilot, have just released their first music video.
The band commissioned independent Piccadilly-based production company Cosmic Joke to make the video for Punching Underwater in March, and production began in April.
“We first saw Secret Pilot perform at the Ram and Shackle earlier this year and we were really blown away by the energy of their live performance,” said Alex Taylor, one of the video’s directors.
“Hopefully the video, part of which was shot during a live gig at the Roadhouse in May, has captured that energy, as well as the band’s personality,” he added.
The band said that they were really pleased with the final cut: “The video looks amazing and we are really happy with how it’s been done”.
Lead guitarist, Patrick Thornton, added; ‘It’s just been a great first experience of making a music video really”.
The track, Punching Underwater, is available now on Secret Pilot’s self-released Punching Underwater EP. You can download the EP for free here: http://soundcloud.com/secretpilotuk and watch the video online at Cosmic Joke’s homepage – www.cosmicjoke.co.uk.
Cosmic Joke are looking to work with other up-and-coming artists in the Greater Manchester area; any other bands who would like to work with them are invited to contact them via their website.
