SPOTLIGHT KID TO PLAY GLASTONBURY BBC INTRODUCING STAGE, ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE

Plan Comes Apart is the first official single from Spotlight Kid’s forthcoming album since whetting appetites last month with free download, Haunting Me. Consider this a suitably scintillating way to get reacquainted with Nottingham’s finest noiseniks. The sonic sorcerers behind Plan Comes Apart describe it as ‘Punk Floyd’ – an awesomely apt description for the scorched-earth-tactics guitars that both blaze with urgency and beguile with lysergic delirium. Add to this the gorgeous vocal harmonies of Rob McCleary and Katty Heath and the result is a heady, heavenly stew of contemporary neo-psychedelic guitar pop.
Spotlight Kid have recently played shows with The Joy Formidable as well as dates at Dot To Dot and Camden Crawl. They play the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury Friday 24th June at 6pm.
Spotlight Kid will be performing a warm-up set on Wednesday 22nd June at The Bodega, Nottingham with Frontiers, I AM LONO and Jake Bugg.
