German Error Message are happy to announce the release of a new, two-track digital single, “In Comforting.” The single will feature – “In Comforting”, and “Feverhead”. “In Comforting” is the first studio recording by the band. Though it was recorded mostly outside of the band’s homebase, it retains the warm, organic nature of previous works. Both new tracks further the band’s exploration of what one writer called, “a hauntingly delicate exercise in rich instrumentation and meandering melodies” – (MOKB)
Praise for the most recent full-length, After The Warmth:
“Minimal, gorgeous and often ornately foreboding in tone, the album is evocative of inward journeys through emotionally fraught soundscapes… For any indie-folk fan seeking a fresh, gifted approach to the craft, German Error Message should give them a reason to look no further.” – MOKB
“This is the soundtrack to those moments when you ride the train to your nearest city and look out the window like you’re in some foreign film about losing a loved one.” – Together In Digital Dreams
“After The Warmth is the one I’m familiar with, and I’ve been listening to it for a few weeks now. The songs are light and bedroom-pop-like with softly sung vocals, soft guitars, and brushed percussion. Despite many listens, I’ve had trouble pulling out a weak song on the album.” –FensePost
“The songs on new album ‘After The Warmth’ have a sense of fragile intimacy, especially ‘Reaching Out’, which boasts tender guitar and gorgeous vocals from Kintzing. This track, and ‘We Arose’, have the potential to put German Error Message on the map and in your hearts.” – The Music Ninja
