Having just finished his first European tour since releasing this year’s acclaimed album Smoke Ring For My Halo, Kurt Vile and his band The Violators are readying themselves for a lengthy tour of the US (with help from Woods and Thurston Moore along the way), which kicks off tomorrow with a long sold-out show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom.
In the meantime, the Philadelphian native has posted online a live version of Smoke Ring… album track ‘On Tour’. Recorded at this year’s SXSW for US website Rhapsody, the three-track session is available to purchase digitally from today.
