On Thursday, June 16th, legendary Southern rockers DOC HOLLIDAY will play The Peel in Kingston, London.
Doc Holliday is from Georgia and in 1981 their debut album DOC HOLLIDAY entered the Billboard Rock LPs chart in the top 30. The band then began to receive the attention of the UK music press and the second album DOC HOLLIDAY RIDES AGAIN was released at the end of 1981 to critical acclaim. It contains the Southern rock classic ‘Lonesome Guitar’, a song in the tradition of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ‘Freebird’.
The band have released a further 13 albums (including Live and compilation albums) and have toured with everyone from Black Sabbath, Molly Hatchet, Charlie Daniels, Gregg Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughan Blackfoot to UFO and more, with each performance astounding audiences with their powerful brand of Southern Rock.
Bruce Brookshire – Vocals, Lead Guitar, Eddie Stone – Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals and John Turner Samuelson – Lead Guitar, Vocals remain from the original lineup, and Daniel Bud Ford – Bass Guitar, Vocals and Danny “Cadillac” Lastinger Drums complete the current line up
