LEAMINGTON SPA ASSEMBLES FOR THE POP STARS OF TOMORROW

| On 08, Jun 2011

Chris Younie, host of flagship show You Call The Hits says: “Every day I speak to listeners on my show who request music that’s brand new and hasn’t hit the charts yet. They’re really ahead of the game, and Future Hits Live feels like a brilliant way to reward them with the artists they love long before anyone else gets to see them. I’m really excited about seeing Kimberley Wyatt’s new group plus welcoming Oh My! for their very live first show. I think it’s a great opportunity for listeners in the Midlands to see some great new music and for us to meet them!”

The Leamington Spa event will be the first in a number of intimate gigs showcasing new pop acts at different venues across the country.

Fresh from his recent #2 ‘Unorthodox’ with Example, Wretch 32, is already signed up to play at this year’s Glastonbury, Wireless Festival and Ibiza Rocks. His debut single ‘Traktor’ hit #5 and a no doubt chart topping album will follow later this year.

British trio Soundgirl are all under 17 and have lived out the ultimate teenage girl dream by supporting chart topper Justin Bieber on tour. Their new single ‘Don’t Know Why’ is a perfect summer smash.

Priority Jive act Six D are the sound of perfect sound of 2011: a combination of street dance and slick pop music, the super talented group have already performed on stage with Madonna, The Saturdays and JLS. Now they’re working with Lady Gaga and Katy Perry’s choreographer to perfect the routines they’ll bring to Future Hits Live. Their first single ‘Best Damn Night’ drops in July.

Future Hits Live is a must for any Pussycat Dolls fans as we welcome Kimberley Wyatt’s return to pop with her new act Her Majesty & The Wolves. With 2 UK #1s and 11 top 20 singles under her belt, this will be one of the most intimate shows Kimberley has played in years.

At 20 years old Talay Riley already has a number 1 to his name after co-writing ‘Oopsy Daisy’ for Chipmunk as well as tracks for UK pop royalty Jessie J, JLS and Tinie Tempah. Now turning his hand to performing Talay releases ‘Make You Mine’ in August.
Oh My! is made up of two friends from school, Alex and Jade. Protégés of Example, Future Hits Live will be their first public performance.
