Clare Grogan joins Rewind Scotland

Clare Grogan, known to millions as the lead singer of the Scottish 80s new wave pop band Altered Images, has been confirmed as the Main Stage presenter at “Rewind Scotland The 80s Music Festival, featuring twenty-five iconic 80s bands and artists at Scone Palace in Perthshire, Scotland from July 29 31st.
Grogan will present both days at Rewind Scotland on Saturday July 30th and Sunday July 31st, by introducing twenty-five of the hottest 80s artists including Spandau Ballets Tony Hadley, Rick Astley, the Human League, Howard Jones, Bananarama, Toyah, The Real Thing, Cutting Crew, Kim Wilde, TPau, Heaven 17, Kid Creole and the Coconuts and many more.
Grogan is best known as the lead singer for Altered Images. The band had 5 top 20 hit singles including Happy Birthday, I Could Be Happy and Dont Talk To Me About Love, and was voted Best New Group at the NME awards.
Rewind Scotland The 80s Music Festival will feature the biggest live outdoor line-up of 80s recording and performing artists in Scotland to date. The festival was originally launched at Henley-on-Thames in 2009, and was the surprise success of the year attracting 30,000 people, and was also nominated for Best New Festival of 2009. In addition to the massive line-up, Rewind Scotland will feature plenty of festival fun including Silent Discos, Live Karaoke bars, and Camping and Glamping (glamorous camping) options.
