Othello Woolf Cold In Flesh EP

Following the success of debut limited edition single ‘Stand’, Othello Woolf is back with his new EP: ‘Cold In Flesh’ available as a free download at: www.othellowoolf.com
Othello Woolf weaves together modern R&B and glassy isolated vocals to create the Cold In Flesh EP. A purely artistic vision, this record stubbornly disregards expectations of what pop music means in 2011. It is fresh and authentic.
The EP comprises of four tracks. ‘Cold In Flesh & Bone’ is a tender flow of dream-like prose, pining for child-like innocence against a tight hypnotic rhythm. The bass-heavy ‘Can’t Help’ confronts the fact that when all is said and done we are alone in this world.
‘Masterpiece’ is hard-hitting dancehall, dripping with horn stabs and atmospheric synths as Othello sings from the heavens at a girl about to give up on her dreams. ‘The Way I Want’ closes the EP with a hook-laden chant of conditional love, set against shimmering drums and immaculate production.
In recent months Othello Woolf has been collaborating with fellow artist/producer Bullion (recordings forthcoming), New York high-fashion photographer Fabien Montique (Kanye West, Mos Def, John Legend, ID), and has produced the debut EP from an as-yet secret London group, due for release later this year.
