Dog Is Dead Announce More Summer Festivals!

| On 07, Jun 2011

DEBUT LONDON HEADLINE SHOW – JULY 13

EP ‘YOUR CHILDHOOD’ OUT NOW (You can listen to their EP ‘Your Childhood’, out now, HERE)

Nottingham quintet, Dog Is Dead, will play their first London headline show at The Lexington on July 13. The show comes fresh off the back of their amazing festival performances at The Great Escape (where NME featured the band as one of their ‘Top 10 Buzziest Bands’) and their UK support shows with Brother. The band also recently released a four-track EP titled ‘Your Childhood’.

It’s safe to say the band have developed an avid UK fanbase over the past year and have finely-tuned their captivating live show. Their trilogy of previous singles – ‘Glockenspiel Song’‘Young’ and ‘River Jordan’, enjoyed support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and Radio 6 music and you may also recognise ‘Glockenspiel Song’ as the song that closed the current series of Skins with the band playing themselves in last month’s epic dénouement.

With festival appearances confirmed for Rockness, Latitude, Bestival, and many more, be sure to catch their super-sized choruses and harmonious indie rock live set. The band are currently working on their debut album, set to release on Atlantic Records in 2012.
