THE OPERATORS and their single ‘OLD SCHOOL HOUSE’
aaamusic | On 27, May 2011
‘Old School House’ is the first single released from The Operators’ forthcoming Album, Old School House. The suburban indie-funkers are set to seduce the public with a combination of irresistibly rowdy beats & soulful, raw vocals.

Gaining airplay and winning over tastemakers, Jo Wiley & Zane Lowe, with debut single B-Line, and having it’s video directed by daughter of Pete Townshend (Minta Townshend), recording tracks at the world renowned Olympic Studios & taking to the stage, in front of their home crowd at the Isle of Wight Festival would have most up & coming bands eulogizing. The boys instead launched Your Hands Music, a song writing & production house, to involve themselves with as many musically diverse projects as they could find, working with the likes of Dionne Bromfield, Rob Davis, The Infadels, Bless Beats, Zalon Thompson, Gabrielle Aplin & new act Bluebell.

Old School House is an ingeniously witty mash up of influences. Trampling through nineties Indie, electronica, drum ‘n’ bass & house – sometimes even in the same track… it shouldn’t work, but it does. Old School House will be released in two parts, Step 1on the 30/05/11 and Step 2 in August 2011 (exact date TBA).
