Delta Maid’s new single ‘Spend A Little Time’ – a perky dose of down to earth country – is released July 10th on Geffen/Future Records.

This Nashville friendly, blues inspired track sees a June Carter Cash channeling Delta dismissing the love of a swanky Mercedes driving big shot in favour of a man who simply likes to spend time hanging out with her. “I wrote this after having a talk with friends about prospective partners, a couple of them were a bit guilty of aspiring to go out with someone rich, powerful or famous. That was the trigger for this song. It was a light hearted way of saying money and status isn’t everything, well, to me it isn’t anyway,” explains Delta.

Delta Maid’s gorgeous debut album ‘Outside Looking In’ is out now. “Sexy, young and with a talent for writing songs that cut right to the emotional core,” said the Sun of her debut, while MOJO claims ‘Outside Looking In’ has “grooves packed with the weathered kind of emotion L’Oreal can’t erase.“

Delta has been busy on the road travelling around the UK on her first headline tour which included a triumphant home coming gig at the Liverpool Ink Room plus great performances at The Great Escape, Brighton and Liverpool Sound City.
