ROCKNESS UNVEILS THE BACARDI GET TOGETHER

| On 24, May 2011

RockNess are pulling out all the stops in 2011 for the ‘Year of the Ness’, with what is undoubtedly the festival’s biggest line-up to date. With headline sets from Kasabian, The Chemical Brothers and Paolo Nutini, and must-see performances from the likes of  Groove Aramada, DJ Shadow, Magnetic Man, Glasvegas, Nero and lots more plus a huge comedy line-up and the brand new Rock n Roll Circus hosting Jamie Woon, Wolf Gang,  Yaaks and numerous others, it’s going to be the best party the banks of Loch Ness has ever seen.

As well as plenty of amazing live music across the weekend there are plenty of DJs stepping up to keep the RocKNess crowd reaching for the skies  long into the night at the brand new BACARDÍ Get Together. An arena to hang out with friends, enjoy Mojitos, laugh, dance, soak up the atmosphere and generally enjoy the festival buzz, The BACARDÍ Get Together will have cocktails to share with your mates, cabanas to sit and hang out in, free Wi-Fi to connect with your friends and, of course, great music.

DJs playing The BACARDÍ Get Together on Friday including rave master Hervé, discoid electro twins The Glimmers, disco deviants Disco Bloodbath, Serge Santiago and Tom Neville’s amazing Retro/Grade project, Moda collective founder Tom Staar, psychedelic mash-up merchants Psychemagik, Scandalism’s Stripes and Floorplay resident Kiwi.

Saturday’s dancefloor includes sonic tracks from Alex Metric, French electronic maestro Alan Braxe, Scotland’s finest Grum, remixer du jour Starsmith and stomping beats from Russ Chimes, plus there will be some very special sets from Bicep DJs, Stripes and Kiwi.

Sunday’s line-up will see some more very special guests plus brash disco from The Magician,   a DJ set from Crystal Fighters, handclap and cowbell vibes from the C90s, Fabric resident and bugged out regular Stopmakingme, BleeD’s Casper C and Stripes and Kiwi.
