As well as an incredibly respected musician, Chad VanGaalen is also a wildly talented illustrator and animator. His newest work, possibly his most intricate and astounding to date, is the video for his brand new free download single ‘Peace On The Rise’, into which he has weaved a competition for his fans.

The video comes with the announcement of a long awaited UK tour and ahead of the release of his new record ‘Diaper Island’ through Sub Pop on June 13th. As with all of his albums, Chad is single-handedly responsible for all of the artistic efforts that went into Diaper Island, from album art to music videos and everything in between.

The new video Chad made for the song is ample supporting evidence for the “wildly talented” claim above. And, because he is something of an overachiever, Chad drew a series of items into the video for you to find.
