So, the buzz has been building since last week. And now Spectrum announce a lineup that’s set to tear Ewer Street Warehouse apart for the Spectrum: Summer Warehouse Party.

Two arena-packing headliners are still to be announced – they’re worth the ticket price on their own – for Saturday 2nd July’s eight-hour bass blast-off, but the supporting lineup is unmissable. Spectrum returns to London with an eye-popping roster: Kissy Sell Out, DJ Zinc, Sinden, Redlight, Reso, Hot City and Tomba lead the charge. And Pete Jordan, Tim Healey, Dan Neon and Baratone are also on hand to make the party boom.

Kissy Sell Out’s fast-paced weekly Thursday show on BBC Radio 1 – as well as constant gigging – has created a massive following for the ‘rock and rave’ DJ and producer. His soon-to-be-released second artist album ‘Wild Romance’ is already gaining strong support, and his DJ sets are renowned for their energy – the crowd go mental for Kissy, and just watch him work the bench!

DJ Zinc is one of the UK’s most accomplished DJ-producers. Having started out in the drum ’n’ bass and jungle scene in the early Nineties, his ability to push boundaries within a genre has always been one of his biggest selling points: ‘Super Sharp Shooter’, ‘138 Trek’ and a white label of The Fugees’ ‘Ready or Not’ are three of his eradefining tunes. Recently productions featuring the likes of Ms Dynamite and Katy B have contributed to a new phase his career, creating a fresh urban-influenced dance sound that he has self-titled ‘Crack House’.

Sinden has many strings to his bow: his DJ sets are bass-heavy, eclectic and fresh, and his production collaborations with the likes of Switch, Herve (as The Count and Sinden) and SBTRKT on his own Grizzly label continue to push him to the forefront of forward-thinking dance music..

Next up we have four Spectrum debutants… Bristol-based Redlight is one of the UK’s hottest producers. ‘What You Talking About?’ with Ms Dynamite was one 2010’s most instantly recognisable tunes, and with a slew of wellsupported releases and remixes under his belt, the artist formerly known as DJ Clipz, is smashing up the dance world – smashing ghetto house, dubstep, breaks and anything else he can get his hands on to make a whole new sound! For the bass addicts, there’s dubstep experimentalist Reso, and Borgore’s right-hand-man and fellow Israeli Tomba makes a rare appearance in the UK. Between them they promise to push the soundsystem to its low-end limits. And Hot City certainly won’t be out-bassed on the night, bringing groove-based techno to the mix.

Spectrum’s very own Pete Jordan’s recent releases on labels such as Top Billin and Gung-Ho!, plus remixes for Zed’s Dead, have seen his popularity spike. With Spectrum in ascendancy, as well as regular DJ slots around the world and a bright production career, 2011 is going to be one to remember. And Spectrum regulars Tim Healey and Dan Neon return, all tied together with an awesome visual show from Blend!
