‘Confessions of a Nice Girl’ is the brand new, third album from 19 year old, Texas born country singer Katie Armiger.
The album opens with the 2010 single ‘Best Song Ever’, introducing Miss Armiger’s upbeat country sound with pop/rock twist and narrative of relate-able love songs of hope, lust, broken hearts and empowerment in the aftermath of it all. ‘Confessions of a Nice Girl’ is the soundtrack for a majority of teenage girls with particular reference ‘Ain’t Gonna Happen’ which conveys the feelings of severe dislike for an ex-lover, the perfect anthem for the young teenage population promoting self worth and pride narrated through some rather lovely lady pop.
Throughout the album Armiger pours out her emotions of growing up, moving on and ‘Leaving Home’, sharing her experiences with us in a fun and upbeat way, making her hard not to like.
The album closes with the soft and sweet ‘Strong Enough’, concluding ‘Confessions of a Nice Girl’, which is overall is rather lovely and very relate-able album, especially to a youth audience.
