Submarines duo John Dragonetti and Blake Hazard are bringing some LA sunshine tothe UK in May when they join The Mountain Goats on their forthcoming tour.
Taken from their new album Love Notes/Letter Bombs (Out Now), new single “Shoelaces” gives a clue of what to expect from their live setup: A gracefully balanced yet glitchy pop ensemble. During live shows band member Dragonetti switches between Macbook and guitar bringing their sample punctuated folk-pop to life.
Love Notes/Letter Bombs is the follow-up to 2008’s Honeysuckle Weeks, the album that featured stand-out track “You, Me & The Bourgeoisie,” which served as the soundtrack to Apple’s iPhone 3G television ad campaign for nearly a year.
