A highly anticipated new third album is due for release this year.

Fronted by Ian McCulloch, Echo & The Bunnymen have achieved a cult following, releasing a huge 11 studio albums, including 5 UK top ten albums and 30 singles including an enormous 13 UK top 40 singles – such as “The Cutter”, “The Killing Moon” and “Nothing Lasts Forever”.
Irish Rockers, THE SAW DOCTORS return to GuilFest’s Main Stage on Sunday 17th July. Formed in 1986 in Tuam, County Galway, they have achieved eighteen Top 30 singles in Ireland, including three number ones. Their first number one, “I Useta Lover,” topped the Irish charts for nine consecutive weeks in 1990, and still holds the record for the country’s all-time biggest-selling single. Renowned for their live performances, the band also has a cult following, especially in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. On 15 February 2008, they received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards.
The Kane FM presents Funky End Dance Tent is also beginning to take shape! Topping the bill on Friday 15th July is NERO. NERO have become a big name in both the Drum and Bass and Dubstep scenes, gaining huge support from DJs like Andy C, Grooverider and Friction, as well as radio airplay from Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank, Steve Lamacq and Fabio & Grooverider, to name just a few.
Headlining the tent on Saturday 16th July will be PENDULUM (DJ SET) back by popular demand following their fantastic DJ set back in 2009. Pendulum have taken the world by storm since they formed in 2002, becoming masters of the drum and bass scene, and then breaking through into the main stream with the release of their critically acclaimed albums, Hold Your Colour, In Silico, and Immersion. The last time they played at GuilFest, they truly stole the show so expect an incredible performance from these guys this July.
Supporting PENDULUM (DJ SET) on Saturday night is MODESTEP (DJ SET). Modestep are a dubstep act that combine a varied range of musical tastes such as Rock, Motown, 2-step, Drum & Bass and Soul with the aim of bringing something different to the Dubstep scene. Deep, soulful vocals mixed with their signature filthy basslines, Modestep offer a commercially acceptable and radio friendly form of Dubstep that still has major dance-floor appeal.
