Following on from the breakthrough success of their first release, anonymous edit jackers Ruben & Ra are back on their new Retrospective imprint with four slick re-rubs.

Over the last month, there’s been plenty of hype about these two mysterious boogie chroniclers, with their debut track ‘Newer Shooz’ amounting over 2,900 SoundCloud hits in less than three weeks. The boys have been hard at work in the studio and have already received a selection of impressive material from emerging producers looking to join the Retrospective fold, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!

RETRO002 features two floor-driven jams in the form of ‘Loose Champagne’ and ‘Mind Can’t Let Go’, plus the spacious nu disco cut ‘Meet When?’. As was the case with the first release, Ruben & Ra are once again generously giving away a 320k download of their E.P’s last track ‘The Beat Reaction’ via their SoundCloud page.
