After a long wait we are happy to announce details of our opening party this Sunday and the launch of our 10th season of parties.

It seems we have had a tough time over the last year or so, losing venues due to circumstances beyond our control. Unfortunately 2011 seems to have started in the same way and our first choice of new space that we have been working on for the last months fell through at the last minute just last Friday (just over a week before the party). We’re always looking for that special location for secretsundaze and our search for open-air or naturally lit venues is the very reason that it’s so hard to find something that we feel will suit the party.

With all that in mind we are very happy to have found a great replacement with The House in Greenwich in such a short space of time. They have been extremely accommodating and are making a number of alterations to the outdoor space to make it suitable to help create the secretsundaze vibe. Some of you may remember the parties we did there a few years ago. The outdoor terrace behind the venue is definitely one of the coolest outdoor spaces that we have seen for secretsundaze with its wooden decked, tiered terrace and plants and foliage over hanging. With no sound restrictions at all unlike many open air spaces in London this should hold us in good stead for the all day session!

We can also now announce that alongside Kyle Hall, our second guest that we’ll be flying over for the occasion will be Mojuba’s precocious young talent Sven Weissemann. Sven is definitely a hugely talented and versatile producer with his super mature sought after deep compositions on Mojuba as Sven Weisemann and his more dubstep alter ego Desolate also garnering fans worldwide. His DJing is very solid and you can see the big Detroit and Chicago influence in his rapid fire skills.

We have released a handful of extra tickets on sale on RA so don’t sit on this as at the rate they were selling last week they will be snapped up very quickly. You have been warned!

There will literally be 50 – 100 tickets maximum on the door.

For those of you that can’t make it to the opening party, tickets for the second May bank holiday on Sunday May 29th are also selling fast on RA and fingers crossed we’ll be at one of the few new locations we have been trying to lock down.

For those wondering the Jubilee Line is running all day Sunday to North Greenwich the closest tube (5 minute walk) and the last tube runs at 11:40pm. The party will run from 2pm to 11:30pm (1 hour longer than usual). Summer is officially here!
