Down the Machine are a four piece alternative rock band from Leeds signed to Ambion Records. Their single “Losing Faith” delivers everything that heavy rock fans will expect: it is loud, energetic, and sufficiently moody. What is unexpected about this song is the melodious, radio friendly chorus which in terms of catchiness could rival any pop song.

To the untrained ear, heavy rock bands can often sound like each instrument is competing for attention. However Down the Machine have managed to avoid this pitfall in this well crafted song which builds up to an effective crescendo near the end with deep lyrics throughout by lead singer Steve Wilson.

If distorted guitars, crashing drums angsty vocals and high energy is your thing then Down The Machine are won’t disappoint.
