DID New Single ‘Stop Giving Up’

DID release a new single, ‘Stop Giving Up’ on the 2nd May produced with Hatcham Socials Toby Kidd and mastered at Metropolis Studio with Adam Kerle. Following up on a string of releases, including Rough Trade Shops Essential Listening ‘Hello Hello’ transparent 7inch with the first remix ever done by These New Puritans on the B-side and their debut LP Kumar Solarium released in Europe, Japan and the United States. Stop Giving Up is DID’s most pop and experimental moment yet. According to producer Toby Kidd, the song was recorded and produced taking inspirations from the dub bass lines of Lee Scratch Perry and the pop sensibility of Phil Spector.
Founders, artistic directors and promoters of Loser and SRSLY. two of the most important electronic club nights in Italy and more recently working with Club To Club Festival, DID have always been closely involved with the UK and US music scene with remixes of Flash Fiktion and DJ sets at Offset Festival, White Heat and a residency at Bugged Out in Turin. Musically ahead of their time and responsible for bringing among others Mount Kimbie, Ikonika and These New Puritans among other for the very first time to Italy. DID are now ready to leave their comfort zone and head take their sound further a field.
