New Single Released On Transparent – June 13th
South London duo Disclosure announce their new double A-side single ‘Carnival’ / ‘I Love That You Know’ released on June 13th viaTransparent. Winning fans amongst Pitchfork, NME, XLR8R, Loud and Quiet, Altered Zones and RCRD LBL, brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence made their debut in 2010 with the ‘Offline Dexterity’ release on the Moshi Moshi singles club.
Since then the brothers, aged 16 and 19, have been holed up in their home studio writing, recording and producing. Carnival and I Love That You Know exemplify their consistent attention to detail and skill of composing complex and intricate 2-step garage rhythms and dubstep basslines.
The continually progressive Transparent label were early adopters of Disclosure, professing their support on the consistently influential Transparent Blog back in early 2010, previous releases to their name include How To Dress Well, Yuck and Holy Other among others.
