Fresh from supporting The Streets on their epic recent farewell tour and systematically ripping up every dancefloor known to man, electrifying UK dubstep collective Engine-Earz Experiment release their highly anticipated and hauntingly anthemic debut single ‘Reach You’ featuring the un-ignorable lushious vocals of She is Danger’s Lena Cullen. The single is taken from the debut Engine-Earz Experiment album ‘Symbol’ which is due for release later this year.

Engine-Earz Experiment are dubstep’s first fully live act. Having already won over an assorted army of fans from Rusko and Nitin Sawhney right through to Adam F and Mike Skinner they aim to now smash the glass divides between genres and ideologies fusing dubstep with elements of drum’n’bass, electronica, alternative rock and indigenous musics from around the world.

Lena Cullen is one half of She is Danger (alongside house’s new superstar Maya Jane Coles) and as such she has remixed the likes of Massive Attack and Gorillaz. Lena is also set to feature on Emalkay’s first full vocal single ‘The World’.

‘Reach You’ has already enjoyed strong radio support with a Zane Lowe ‘Future Anthem’ slot, Nihal, Mistajam and daytime play from Huw Stephens also. Two BBC Maida Vale sessions have also helped to build the fanbase. Clips of the track on You Tube have smashed through the half a million mark plus the band featured as Guardian’s ‘Best new band of the day’ all before the track had been officially promoted as a single so expect things to go through the roof!

The track is also included on the upcoming film ‘Everywhere and Nowhere’ from the director of Kidulthood in April 2011.

Remixes come from the one and only Chasing Shadows and the infectiously talented Black Noise who offer up some dark dance floor twisters. Being in-demand remixers in their own right Engine-Earz Experiment are set to remix the next Streets single “OMG” as well as bringing their hand to a remix for Does It Offend You Yeah?, having previously remixed peeps from Basement Jaxx to Sean Paul.

With their debut album due for release later this year ‘Reach you’ is just a taste of what’s to come. Current album collaborators include the likes of Golden Globe winning vocalist Lisa Gerrard from Dead Can Dance (Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator,’ ‘Whale Rider,’ ‘Black Hawk Down’), Scandinavian Chart Topper Ane Brun, London rapper Akala, Jenna G, Get Cape, Wear Cape Fly, ethereal sync queen Kate Havnevik, Saint Saviour and flautist-beatboxer Nathan ‘Flute Box’ Lee

Engine-Earz Experiment have brought their unique live experience to countless dubstep raves, toured nationally with The Streets and Dreadzone, performed at Latitude Festival, Glastonbury, (where they headlined the BBC Introducing stage), and played international festivals such as Outlook, Winter Sessions and Open Source alongside the likes of Caspa, Skream, Benga, Rusko and Rodigan amongst many others.

With a full on spring and summer tour plot in place which will include supporting Tricky on his European Tour, Camden Crawl, We Are The People, Glade, Glastonbury and beyond – it is going to be a truly unstoppable year for Engine-Earz Experiment- get on the ride…
