Reading & Leeds 2011: Dance Stage additions and more
aaamusic | On 19, Apr 2011
Having already revealed some of the biggest bands on the planet for this year’s Reading & Leeds Festivals, more acts have been confirmed to play at Europe’s biggest dual site, Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds. Held Friday 26th August – Sunday 28th August 2011, this is the most exciting weekend of music and fun held anywhere in the world.
On The Dance Stage we are very proud to announce the legendary UNKLE bringing a worldwide exclusive show under the guise of UNKLE Sounds, and the incredible SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO performing live. We have also confirmed the rest of the line-up for this stage and 10 more names for the NME/Radio 1 stage – see below.
Travelling between Reading and Leeds, these acts join our four headliners on the Main Stage: MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, THE STROKES, PULP and MUSE. On the NME/Radio 1 Stage – BEADY EYE, JANE’S ADDICTION, 2 MANY DJ’S and THE STREETS top off a weekend of extraordinary artists covering a broad spectrum of music.
Many more names are still to be announced as well as the full line-up for the Lock-Up Stage, Festival Republic Stage, BBC Introducing Stage and The Alternative Stage. This is definitely the finest line-up you’ll find at any festival this summer at the most legendary event. Get your tent packed!
