Gaymers Camden Crawl – Tinchy Stryder added to bill & Graham Coxon at Proud Galleries

Taking a diversion from his usual sold-out arena haunts, top grime MC Tinchy Stryder will make a special stop in Camden Town to perform an intimate show at the year’s Gaymers Camden Crawl. Although the venue will remain under wraps until the day, the 23-year old Star In The Hood mogul is confirmed appear on the Sunday evening of the May Bank Holiday festival. Set to release his highly anticipated new single ‘Spaceship’ later this Spring, the ‘Number 1’ artist will undoubtedly cause a huge stir of excitement throughout NW1.

Alongside this announcement, Levi’s have also confirmed the details of it’s Craft Of Music series at the Crawl with a full schedule of live performance and Q&A’s from a raft of exciting new talent at Proud Galleries on Sunday 1st May. One of the UK’s most revered guitarists and singer songwriters, Graham Coxon, will top the bill with his first live performance and public discussion drawn from his forthcoming 8th studio album. Radio 1’s Huw Stephens will host the all day and evening marathon which will include performances by Glasgow’s The Phantom Band, Marques Toliver, Martyna Baker, Dutch Uncles, Housse De Racket and an exclusive collaboration between soul diva Rox and acclaimed sublime rapper Ghostpoet. The evening will close with an epic DJ set from Stockport’s Delphic.

Gaymers Camden Crawl ticket holders will be granted entrance to the event on a first come first serve basis. Additionally, a limited amount of tickets will be available to fans who register for the for the Levi’s Craft Of Music show via the Levi’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/levisuk

Finally… since the festival’s inception in 1995, it been accompanied by a free compilation album featuring a selection of acts appearing at the event. Formerly on CD, the 10th annual free compilation will be released as a digital download bundle in conjunction with 7Digital. From Wednesday 20th April, ticket holders will be able to download Gaymers Camden Crawl 2011 The Album from www.7digital.com/camdencrawl. Non-ticket holders will be able to stream the album from the same location.

Tickets are to be exchanged for wristbands which allow free entry to each of the participating venues as individual capacities permit. Wristbands and programmes listing the full venue schedules are obtainable from 11:00 am onward each day at the Gaymers Camden Crawl ticket exchange point. Festival goers are advised to arrive early as there will be a full daytime programme on both days from 12:00 pm. Doors open 6:00 pm for evening schedule at most venues. There will be late night after show parties featuring live bands and DJs until 4:00 am both days. It is worth noting, that all 2011 festival tickets will allow access to ALL venues and no supplementary passes will be required.
