Colly Strings Announced Debut EP and Sound City Festival appearance

Colly Strings are delighted to announce they will be appearing at the Sound City Festival in Liverpool from the 19th – 20th May 2011. This appearance will follow the release of a free downloadable single “Take A Good Look” (April 13th) and is sure to be one of the highlights of the festival as the band look to continue the momentum that has already seen them share a stage with the likes of Feeder, The Wombats and Maybeshewill this year.
Formed in March 2010 Colly Strings are an alternative indie/rock band, with clever, rhythmic verses and deep hard hitting choruses. Their music has been compared to the likes of Biffy Clyro, Two Door Cinema Club and even U2.
Colly Strings fuse catchy guitar riffs and soaring vocal hooks which fall hand in hand with the pulsating bass and beat of the drums to form songs that are guaranteed to stick in the mind from the very first listen.
