With their new album, “Belong”, New York quintet The Pains of Being Pure at Heart expand their gorgeously fragile indie pop aesthetic and rev it up to another level entirely, with the help of producers Flood and Alan Moulder at the helm. The result is a record that is as lush and widescreen as it is effortlessly infectious.

The album has since gone on to critical acclaim, with Pitchfork naming it Best New Music and the press singing its praises. Now, fresh off a tour with Twin Shadow in the US – not to mention an appearance on David Letterman with “Heart In Your Heartbreak” – the band are now returning to the UK and Europe this summer for another run of highly anticipated live dates, including a London date at the Electric Ballroom in June.
