Zoë Badwi’s single ‘Freefallin’’ provided the soundtrack to the summer when it was released in her homeland ofAustralia last year. The track burst into the Top 5 of the singles chart as it became the country’s biggest airplay hit and was soon certified Platinum. Now ‘Freefallin’’ is set to make the same impact on these shores when it receives a UK release on May 29th on One More Tune / Warner Bros. Records.
Zoë Badwi first scored a hit with her 2008 single ‘Release Me’ which topped the Club Chart and earned ARIA andAPRA Awards for Best Dance Release and Dance Work of the Year, as well as the patronage of The Freemasons. Badwiis currently working on her debut album.
Produced by the Denzal Park production team who have scored eight Australian Club Chart #1 hits (four original productions and four remixes), ‘Freefallin’’ was written by the British-born and Australia-based singer-songwriter Amy Pearson.
Fusing Denzal Park’s classic club beats with an anthemic hook and Badwi’s soaring vocals, ‘Freefallin’’ is an infectious dance-pop triumph that’s set to dominate the summer months. The release is supported with a range of remixes from artists including TV Rock & Nordean, Moto Blanco and Wawa.
‘Freefallin’’ has already hit the Top 10 of the Billboard Dance Chart and is quickly building momentum in territories includingGermany, France and the Netherlands as it escalates towards becoming a global hit. Already, the track has amassed over amillion views at YouTube.
Badwi will visit the UK this for performances and promotional work to coincide with the release of the single, further details of which will be announced imminently.
