Brixton based Melodica, Melody + Me have a unique sound which oozes an eclectic combination of gentle folk-tinged harmonies, multi layered instrumentalism, reggae and African beats. It’s sound so effortlessly beautiful and rich that you barely notice the array of influences and cultures lovingly sewn into each tender song. A feat only accomplished by musicians as talented as the likes of Melodica, Melody + Me.
The band’s debut single ‘Piece Me Back Together’ immediately won over the UK press gaining the above accolades – a Q Track of the Day and Guardian New Band of the Day feature.
