The Pigeon Detectives – Up, Guards And At ‘Em

‘Up, Guards And At ‘Em’ is the 3rd album release by well established Indie rock group The Pigeon Detectives, featuring the single ‘Done In Secret’ (released on the 28th of March), which has already received airplay throughout some of the biggest radio stations in the UK.
The album is steeped full of guitar riffs synonymous to the indie genre, there is a use of some interesting drum patterns accompanied by the typical laddish style of vocals on par with The Kaiser Chiefs. Quite a catchy bouncy sound that I can imagine going down well in Indie clubs.
Not particularly to my taste but overall a pretty well recorded and decent album, ‘Up, Guards And At ’em’ will be available from the 4th of April.
