Sankeys has got another corker of a weekend lined up as it swings further headlong into April. Oh My God kicks off proceedings on the Friday night, a glorious showcase of drum n bass at its most potent. With their world-class sound system and intimate Basement vibes, Sankeys has always been perfect for jungle in its myriad of forms, and a man who has been one of the leading protagonists for the club’s D’n’B heritage is back at the helm tonight, Fabio.

The pioneer of soulful drum n bass in the late nineties, he has been one of the main men behind the music’s continued acceptance with a hugely popular Radio One show alongside partner in crime Grooverider. Joining Fabio will be old school legend Ed Rush and N-Type, ambassador of the ever blurring lines between dubstep and drum n bass. Support comes from Wilkinson, Oh My God’s bastion of ruffneck dependability.

24 hours later and it’s the turn of upfront house and techno to dominate the show. Topping the bill is hotter than hot French whippersnapper DJ W!ld. W!ld’s release schedule has seen him light up labels like Brique Rouge, Adult only, Catwash, Oslo and Robsoul, and he’s also been smashing the back out of DC10 all summer long, W!ld is often classed as Circo Loco’s #1 resident.

Support for the W!ld one comes in the shape of Washington DC duo Benoit and Sergio, whose achingly soulful sparse grooves have been one of the success stories of the last 18 months. Combining poppy song writing that is melancholy and reflective; they hit the big time earlier this year with their scattershot love story ‘Walk and Talk’ lamenting their girlfriend’s love of the party just that little too much. OD Muzique and rising talent Jozef K add to Sankeys’ own home-grown support.
