Liverpool Sound City – the UK’s coolest boutique city centre festival – returns Thurs 19th – Sat 21st May 2011
The current full festival wristband price of £40 finishes on Friday April 1st and will continue to increase until May! £40 gets over 300 bands across 30 venues during three amazing days and nights of music across the city. There are only 36 hours left until this price goes up!
Even more new bands have just been announced including Hot Club de Paris, Pete & The Pirates, Django Django, Sound of Rum, The Big House, Entrepeneurs, and Monument Valley
It’s quite simple; from this Friday 1st April, Liverpool Sound City’s festival wristbands go up in price, from £40 to £45. And they will go up again at the end of April. It’s hard to think of a better bargain than this right now – 30 venues and over 300 bands across the UK’s fabled music capital, all taking part in a music, arts and cultural extravaganza which is one of Europe’s leading city-centre festivals. All of this for just £40 makes Liverpool Sound City not just one of the festivals of the year, but one of its best and biggest bargains too.
Famed for booking future stars before they became red hot – Florence and The Machine and Santogold come immediately to mind – LSC’s simple ethos is to bring together some of the world’s leading artists to rub shoulders with the next-generation of artists, bands, mavericks, creators, technologists, journalists and more. With such an abundance of talent half the fun is experiencing a city filled with gigs each day and night in iconic venues including St George’s Hall, The Bombed Out Church, The Crypt, Kazimier and Masque.
Even more news acts have just been announced, including Hot Club de Paris, Pete & The Pirates, Django Django, Sound of Rum, The Big House, Entrepeneurs and Monument Valley who join the already 300+ cast of global stars, unsigned acts and on the cusp-melody makers ready to take over at Liverpool Sound City.
The £40 ticket offer ends this Friday – don’t wait any longer!
