Already well established as an artist having his songs ‘Passion Play’ and ‘Please Don’t Go’ played on ABC’s hit show Greys Anatomy, William Fitzsimmons is out with yet another masterpiece ‘Gold In The Shadow’. The album opens with the single ‘The Tide Pulls From The Moon’ which starts with a beautiful guitar melody and is followed by the soft melodic vocals that William provides, with a female singer contributing with the backing vocals. Throughout the album, the feel is pretty consistent creating a very easy listening laid back atmosphere and warmth. The guitar parts predominantly have a chiming almost bell like sound with the drums providing the heartbeat through the relaxed pattern in which they are played. To sum it up, ‘Gold In The Shadow’ is a well constructed piece with a sweet harmonious resonance and is just an album you can really lay back and chill to. The album is available from the 21^st of March and is simply wonderful.
