Hermanos Inglesos are real life brothers Cedric and Didier Engels. Their name did not come about so that they could secure themselves a lucrative future as part of a Columbian smuggling cartel or so that they could later become a cheesy Anglo-Mexican Mariachi band. Their surname is Engels which is Dutch for English and they are brothers. So English Brothers became Hermanos Inglesos. So far these ‘Brothers English’ have won a Diesel-U-Music Award, set clubs and festivals alight with their eclectic DJ sets, remixed the likes of Yeasayer, Temper Trap, Ladytron and Digitalism and recorded an album ‘The Wander of You’ which will get it’s UK release this year.
