Atlanta four-piece Deerhunter make their long-awaited return to the UK this week, beginning this Saturday (26th March) in Belfast at The Stiff Kitten. Their first full European tour here since 2009, the trip is also the first chance for British fans to hear tracks from the group’s acclaimed fourth album, Halcyon Digest, since its release in September last year (#20 in the HMV Poll of Polls).
In addition to their headline tour this month, Deerhunter have also confirmed they will appear alongside the likes of The National and Esben And The Witch at this year’s Latitude Festival in July. Frontman Bradford Cox’s Atlas Sound solo project will also be a guest at the Animal Collective-curated All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival in May.
