Prime-time American television shows, including ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’, have been queuing up to book Brit Award winning foursome Blake, prompting EMI to release their new single ‘All Of Me’ simultaneously in the UK, USA and Canada. With its fervent lyrics, uplifting melodies and beautiful harmonies ‘All Of Me’ hopes to provide the perfect soundtrack to the Royal Wedding in April. In addition to “flying the flag for Britain” on leading US networks including CNN, ABC and NBC, the four have also been booked on a host of popular British television shows in the lead up to the Royal Wedding day.

Having written some of the most popular television theme tunes, including Eastenders and Howard’s Way, award-winning composer Simon May and his young team of co-writers/producers Simon Lockyer and John Brant believe that, in ‘All Of Me’ they have written the perfect wedding song: “We wrote ‘All Of Me’ a couple of years ago and it has already become a popular song at weddings in America. I’ve been looking for the right occasion and artist to make the definitive recording.”

When Simon met Blake (Ollie Baines, Jules Knight, Humphrey Berney and Stephen Bowman) in November of 2010 and saw them performing at the Royal Festival Hall, he knew that the waiting was over.  “These boys just blew me away” says Simon.  “They have an awesome ability to sing perfect harmonies and interpret a song in either the pop or classical idiom which is an impressive and very unusual combination.

Although ‘All Of Me’ was not written for Prince William and Kate’s wedding, no song could be more perfect as a celebration of the big day. “In ’All Of Me’ Simon and his team have written a song that perfectly fits the romance and commitment of a wedding. We are really honoured to have been asked to sing it and we hope that the song will touch the heart of the nation and be a special song for many couples on their wedding day,” said Blake.
