Barbara Panther’s track ‘Empire’ is quite an eclectic record, with a mix of industrial sounds fused with more of an electro dance feel to it. Barbara has a very charismatic and somewhat eccentric vocal part in the song which gives the track an added ferocity. She has a use of very obscure lyrical content but it works really well in this piece.

The image that I can conjure from the track is one of an underground Euro rave club and I can see it working well on dance floors everywhere. It has a really cleverly made video accompanying it produced by Joji Kayama aka Woof Wan Bau compiled of some really imaginative, strange and inventive imagery and can be viewed on youtube.

A really interesting track, a bit weird but I like it.
