Continuing the celebrations for the brand’s 40th anniversary this year, Hard Rock Cafe have revealed the line up for ‘SOFAS AND STRINGS’, an evening of acoustic music in association with Gibson Guitar, Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI), Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) and SAE Institute taking place at Hard Rock Cafe London on Tuesday 22 March.
Headlining this one-off evening are Little Fish, an exciting duo comprising of JuJu and Nez, who have already played alongside the likes of Them Crooked Vultures, Supergrass, Placebo, Hole and the Dave Matthews Band in the last 12 months. Described by the New York Times as having a “raw rock spark” this stripped down acoustic performance is bound to be something quite special.
Other acts scheduled to perform at ‘SOFAS AND STRINGS’ are singer-songwriter (and fashion designer) Laura Jeanne, folk singer Rachael Travers, the Preston-born musician Mike Dignam – who was named Youth Music’s No.1 Under 18 Songwriter – and Daughter, aka Elena Tonro, who recently performed in London as part of the HMV Next Big Thing gigs.
GibsonGuitar will once again supply a selection of acoustic guitars for the performing artists to use during their Sofas & Strings set. Gibson Guitar is the world’s premier musical instrument maker and leader in music technology known worldwide for delivering unrivalled prestige, quality, innovation and playability in every instrument produced.
Entry to ‘SOFAS AND STRINGS’ is free, with doors opening at 7pm.
