Team Ghost are back with a new single and a series of live dates in the UK.
The band – formed by former M83 man Nicolas Fromageau – are currently hard at work on their debut album, but will take a break to play on both days of the Camden Crawl before returning to co-headline the annual Oui Love tour of up-and-coming French bands with Anoraak, which takes in both The Great Escape in Brighton and Liverpool Sound City, before ending with a London show at CAMP Basement.
Team Ghost play the following dates:
Saturday, April 30 – London, Gaymer’s Camden Crawl – Dublin Castle (hosted by Steve Lamacq)
Sunday, May 1 – London, Gaymer’s Camden Crawl – Black Cap (hosted by Fear & Records)
Saturday, May 14 – Brighton – The Great Escape (Oui Love tour)
Monday, May 16 – Bristol – Louisiana (Oui Love tour)
Tuesday, May 17 – Birmingham – Hare & Hounds (Oui Love tour)
Wednesday, May 18 – Manchester – The Castle (Oui Love tour)
Thursday, May 19 – Liverpool – Liverpool Sound City (Oui Love tour)
Friday, May 20 – London – CAMP Basement (Oui Love tour)
To celebrate the tour Team Ghost and Anoraak will be releasing a limited-edition double A-side single via Sonic Cathedral Recordings on Record Store Day, April 16. The blue vinyl seven-inch sees them remixing each others’ songs, with Team Ghost reworking Anoraak’s Siobhan Wilson-featuring ‘Dolphins & Highways’ into spectral electro-folk loveliness and Anoraak turning Team Ghost’s ‘A Glorious Time’ into what sounds like some long-lost Kraftwerk track.
