| On 13, Mar 2011

“Emotional, heartfelt and anthemic. Epic rock fit for stadiums.”
– Vic Galloway, Introducing, BBC Radio 1 Scotland
Scottish Indie Rockers, Vigo Thieves have lined up a series of live shows to celebrate the roaring success of their latest single Love Is Dead. Released at the end of February, the single has already caused quite a stir on the music scene, nabbing the much-coveted Number 1 slot on Play.com‘s indie chart, and being heavily supported by Ally McCrae onBBC Radio 1 Scotland and Jim Gellatly (Clyde 1 FM, Amazing Radio)

Formed in the autumn of 2008, Vigo Thieves are four friends who, under the heavy influence of indie/electro greats such as New OrderBig Country, and Simple Minds, decided to create a sound set to surpass their heroes. With an impressive collection of roof raising tunes under their belt, and a mass of dedicated followers, this mini tour is sure to cement Vigo Thieves position as one of Scotland’s defining acts of 2011.
