Miles Kane: May UK Tour / Album ‘Colour of the Trap’ released May 9th
aaamusic | On 09, Mar 2011
Miles Kane hits the road this May for 12 UK live dates to celebrate the release of his thrilling debut album ‘Colour of the Trap’ on May 9th.
The 12 date tour follows Miles’ March support slots to Beady Eye on six sold out UK dates and provides the perfect opportunity to check out this natural frontman at full throttle.
‘Colour of the Trap’ is a glorious exploration into the darker corners of vintage pop, psych and blue-eyed soul sounds. Half boy-next-door, half charisma-firework, all instantly loveable star quality, the solo Miles Kane is one of the most exciting things to happen to new music in a long time.
For the live dates, Miles will be joined by his band, featuring Jay Sharrock from The Sand Band on drums, singer-songwriter Eugene McGuinness on vocals/rhythm guitar and Ben Parsons and Phil Anderson from Cherry Ghost on keyboards and bass guitar respectively.
Miles will be appearing as special guest to Arctic Monkeys at their two Don Valley Stadium shows in June.
