SUMMER SUNDAE WEEKENDER TWINNED ONCE AGAIN WITH BERGENFEST AND PRESENTING AN EVENING OF MUSIC THERE ACROSS 3 STAGES
FRIDAY 29th APRIL
Summer Sundae Weekender, a vanguard in the contemporary music festival calendar, is returning this year on the 12th to 14th of August and it is with great excitement that we announce that the festival will be curating the Roundhouse patio at Camden Crawl and for a second year twinned with Bergenfest.
Year on year Summer Sundae Weekender delivers a broad spectrum of emerging and established talent and over the weekend of the 30th April and 1st May this will once more be showcased. The lineup includes Dog Is Dead, Peggy Sue, Beth Jeans Houghton, Marques T’Oliver, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Dry The River, Lulu & The Lampshades and Young Dreams.
Summer Sundae Weekender is once again twinned with Bergenfest, our Norwegian counterpart, as part of the cultural exchange programme organized by the Association of Independent Festivals, where two like-minded festivals are paired. On the 29th April Summer Sundae will be hosting 3 stages as part of the festival, with the likes of John Grant, Gaggle, The Duke & The King, Nouvelle Vague and more performing.
With stages at Camden Crawl and Bergenfest already confirmed anticipation for Summer Sundae Weekender 2011 is high and it looks set to be another resounding success. The first bill announcement will be made 8th March. Early bird ticket details are here:
