The action-packed street thriller “GUN“, starring world-renowned rap superstar Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson and Val Kilmer (Bad Lieutenant, Top Gun), will be released on DVD on March 14th.

Produced, and based on an original screenplay and story written by Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson the film is directed by Jessy Terrero and co-stars Annalynne McCord (90210), James Remar (Dexter), John Larroquette (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and Danny Trejo (Machete).

Gun is the latest big screen venture from the multi-platinum rapper, and tells how in the face of rising crime rates and violence, the Detroit Police Force prepare to launch a full-scale war against gun runners. ““Initially, when I started the plot,” says Jackson, “it was a really a socially conscious story about how guns go from the manufacturing point to retail, and how they can fall into the wrong hands. What made it interesting and so relevant to me was the fact that companies like Smith & Wesson are up 125 percent on sales in the middle of a recession.”
