San Miguel Primavera Sound will participate in the next edition of the American festival South By Southwest (SXSW). The fair for professionals from the music sector, that will celebrate its 25th anniversary from the 15th until the 20th March in Austin (Texas), has become one of the best world platforms for independent bands that are trying to break into the music market.
After a first incursion in 2008 (with concerts by El Guincho, Fuck Buttons, The Extraordinaires, Les Aus, Veracruz, Tokyo Sex Destruction and Mazoni), San Miguel Primavera Sound is coming back with two showcases in the Nuvola club, in which we will present concerts by Edwyn Collins (for the first time in the USA), The Soft Moon, the supergroup formed by members of R.E.M., Young Fresh Fellows and The Dream Syndicate – The Baseball Project and the national bands Lüger and Mujeres, as well as Latin American representation from Dávila 666 and Las Robertas.
