“Mick Jagger. The photobook” opening tomorrow at Parco della Musica, Rome

The photo exibition “Mick Jagger. The photobook” by François Hébel lands in Rome, produced by Fondazione Forma per la Fotografia di Milano and Rencontres Internationales de Photographie of Arles and promoted by Fondazione Musica per Roma. The retrospective is dedicated to the image of a man who not only has been a milestone in the history of rock, but who has become a style icon during these years. A changing face, a chameleon personality, a shameless look, a dynamic body, sensual lips: these are the peculiar elements of a rock icon who has crossed the history of music in last 40 years influencing the imaginary of young people and fans.
Mick Jagger – The Photobook shows a series of 70 portraits shot by famous photographers that followed Jagger’s career documenting his particular face and his ability to turn himself in always different characters. From the first shots in 60s by Goodwin, Mankowitz and Périer and through the experimentations of Cecil Beaton, till the most recent portraits by Annie Leibovitz, Karl Lagerfeld, Anton Corbijn, Mark Seliger and Bryan Adams, they show the metamorphosis of a man who contributed to create a new rock aestethics.
